Systems administrator in Zagreb. My day-to-day is vSphere clusters, IBM storage, Veeam backup and the networking that ties them together — plus the restores, migrations and post-mortems nobody puts in a job description.

I’ve been at Heptabit for ten years: NOC desk first, then the infrastructure team, now leading it. The decade before that was the commercial side of IT — web shop, key accounts, counter sales — which is where I learned what people actually do with the hardware once it leaves the box.

I care about infrastructure that survives the person who built it: documented, monitored, restorable. This site is where the fixes, failures and homelab experiments get written down so neither of us has to solve them twice.
